911 Kings Road is a gated 66 unit complex in a prime West Hollywood location, within walking distance to Santa Monica and Melrose Boulevards. It features a pool, spa and gym and has views of the Hollywood Hills. DBA has been retained to assist with the exterior repairs, including wood siding, stucco, deck repairs and handrail replacement, and replacement of windows, sliding glass doors and patio doors.

Anacapa View

Anacapa View is a 201-unit complex located one block from the ocean in Port Hueneme.  Design Build Associates has been retained by the association to oversee structural repairs at the stairways, wood repairs to decking and wood siding caused by termites and dry rot, waterproofing and repainting the entire complex.

Brookside Village

Brookside Village Homeowner Association is a lovely 385-unit condominium complex in south Redondo Beach, located a short distance from the water. Its 32 buildings are set amidst babbling brooks, waterfalls and fountains in a resort-like setting with pools and spas, tennis courts, gyms, saunas and a clubhouse. Design Build has been engaged to oversee the reconstruction of the parking structure and the roof-top tennis courts.

Canyon Hills Condominium Association is a 386 unit complex built in 1992. The complex boasts two pools, a spa, a fitness center, and grassy open areas with lush landscaping and mature trees throughout. Conveniently located in Santiago Hills off the 261, the complex is close to shopping and dining as well as recreational opportunities for hiking, biking and riding in nearby Peters Canyon Regional Park and Irvine Regional Park. The Board of Directors has contracted with Design Build Associates to provide construction management services for the upcoming repiping project.

Gateway Walk is a 129-unit gated complex conveniently located near shops and restaurants.  The complex features lush gardens with a fountain, a barbecue area, firepit and outdoor seating area, clubhouse and fitness center.  The association originally hired Design Build Associates to assist them with their construction defect repairs, and has since asked DBA to oversee the painting and decking project.

Genesis is a 163 home condo community in Long Beach, located just a few minutes from the downtown area and blocks from the beach. The complex is a four story building with secured access and underground parking. The amenities include private balconies, a beautiful pool and spa area and clubhouse. DBA has been engaged to implement repairs to the podium deck and raised planters, a new roof, wood replacement and an updated color scheme.

Located conveniently close to shopping, dining and entertainment, this gated complex features a lovely pool and spa set among tall pine trees and a central greenbelt. Indigo is a 77 unit condominium community located in Marina Del Rey. The four story structure has a contemporary beach vibe. Indigo has asked Design Build Associates to assist in prioritizing needed repairs to the podium deck, walkway balconies, stucco and roof assemblies, which will be funded from proceeds recovered from the original developer. Design Build Associates will assemble the consultant team, help to prioritize the needed repairs and develop a scope of work, bring aboard a general contractor and oversee both the design process and the construction activity.

Lakeside Garden Grove Homeowners Association

Lakeside is a community of 286 condominiums located in Garden Grove CA. It is a gated community and has two beautiful pool areas. Most of the homes have views of the babbling brooks and lakes that run through the center of the community. Design Build Associates (DBA) is managing a refurbishment project that will address the wood damage to balconies, decks and exterior stairs caused by weather and termites. Building signage, community access and landscaping will also receive upgrades.

Craycraft Park.  The community features two pool areas and a clubhouse.  The association initially engaged Design Build Associates to oversee deck and exterior stair repairs.  DBA is now overseeing a community-wide repipe project and also investigating the condition of the roofs, wood trim and asphalt.

Marina Strand Colony I Homeowners Association

Marina Strand Colony I is a 145 unit homeowner association located in Marina Del Rey. This beautiful homeowner association is a city block long, and Design Build Associates is managing the complete renovation of the building exteriors. Their scope of work entails demolition, new siding, windows, doors, sloped and flat roofing, balcony enclosures, painting, staining, and decks. There are multiple phases to the construction portion of this project, which is currently under way.
