El Escorial - Design Build Associates, Inc. recently completed Construction Management services for the complete renovation of the building exteriors at El Escorial Homeowners Association in Santa Barbara, California. This property, while being converted from a hotel to condominiums, was fraught with construction defects that resulted in one of the largest construction defect litigation cases on the California central coast.
Design Build Associates, Inc. was hired to provide construction management services. We assisted the association in identifying the complete and proper scope of work in order to solve their extensive defect issues and the resultant damage. Today, after replacing the exterior façades, the association’s buildings are water tight and look brand new.
